ONTZ

Ontz is Bjarne Christian Gustavsen, (synthesizers,) and Mai Elise Solberg, (vocals, programing, percussion.) The duo got together while studying at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. They found a shared need for making pop music that could be both rusty and organic, as well as shiny and glossy. Ontz became their playground where they could bring recordings from junkyards with scrap metal and mix them with glossy synths, fat bass lines and pounding beats.

 

In 2014 they released Ontz EP, and toured Europe and Norway together with the Norwegian artist Bernhoft. In 2015 they've been working on their new album, and the singles "Am I Dua" and "Glue" are released. The album "Overgrowth" is out on january 8th 2016!
